They still do in the Philippines - in some areas only. They even have 'fresh' markets - animals are alive until you choose the one you want.

Let’s see. I’m Italian second generation American. Was in Viet Nam. Dog and cat are ok but snake and rats are better. The question should be what race doesn’t ?

Orientals people they eat dogs, cats and rats. about year a go I saw that in TV the way they were dipping those animals in boiling water when they were still alive.
