Look in the phone book for a kosher deli or grocery store if you want real Mogen David. If you want mad dog, which really is made by the same people, go to the roughest section of whatever city you live in and you'll find some in the coolers of most convenience stores.

If you are looking for an inexpensive Mevushal, Kosher wine, spend a few extra bucks and get Baron Herzog. Mogan David is not a quality wine and you might be disappointed with the taste.

Mogen David Wine

Mogen David wine is a kosher wine.
Unless you live in the east or west coast or a large middle American city, you will be hard-pressed to find it.

Check with your biggest liquor store to see if they carry it...and if not, ask them for it.

Mogen David and Manischewitz are the two largest kosher wine companies in America, producing concord grape wine (a very sweet wine).

By the way - if you have a choice, try the Mogen David blackberry wine...it makes for a very nice after-dinner dessert wine.

Any liquor store should have it. Look for MD 20/20. We use to call it Mad Dog 20/20 and it makes a great wine cooler mixed with 7-up.

I used to work at the Class 6 (liquor store) on an Air Force base and we sold it there. If you aren't finding it where you shop, ask the manager to order it. If they can't stock it regularly they might be able to do special orders for just you. We did that a lot for our customers who wanted hard to find items.

Yes, it is vegan! I also recommend Rashi wine or 770 wine, which are also kosher brands that are vegan suitable but taste waaaaaay better. Especially the Rashi wine. Enjoy! :)
