I never liked church because I could never find one that didnt judge me based on what I looked like. I used to go to church, but there were always "clicks" If I wasnt in the right click, had the right kind of outfit on, they would put their nose up at me. I think all structured religion is man made and although the preaching was good it was biased and close minded. I went back to my old church a few years ago, got dirty looks or pity looks and I dont understand why? I have been to about 6 different churches in my life and they are all the same.

Going to church doesn't have to prove your spirituality. It's just a place you can share with others of the same religion. I say church is more like a hang out.

I never liked church growing up, and now that I have kids, for about a year, I've been going to this Baptist church near me just b/c a friend goes there. I hated it, but one of my kids kind of liked it, and the other hated it. I kept going hoping that I would feel something, but it never happened, and barely anyone introduced themselves or even tried to be friendly. One Sunday, we tried the Methodist Church near us and immediately felt at home. We've been going for about an month now, and I have finally bought a Bible and felt like learning more. It's nice to feel like you belong somewhere and have a place for God to fill up your cup every week. And I'm relieved that my children like this church. It just seems freindlier and less judgemental here.

Church is what you make it....you need to decide what your beliefs are and find like minded people. Church is great! They can be your family, friends, supporters, and etc. Yes there are some bad churches, but don't let that one bad experience choose why you do not find a place to go and learn, worship, and experience what God had in mind for us.
God Bless!

The Church is the pillar and foundation of Truth. The Mass is the closest thing to heaven on earth.

According to the Bible, 'church' means members or people who have repented and are born of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. If there are sinners, then it is not a church. We have all sinned, but if you have been born again, you are forgiven and if you have confessed.

It depends on what Church. Most organizations have an agenda not necessarily in line with Gods. But I think it is necessary to find a Sincere group to converse about God and enlighten one another about higher truths. go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths. The United Relief network. A group of very enlightened souls helping others become enlightened. Lots of info. about universal truths of God. (Krishna Allah, Jehovah)
