Why do Christians support laws that ban plants God created? Do they think they know better than God?

My young friend, I cannot answer that question. But i can tell you this. he loves you, he loves marijuana, and he loves when you smoke it. So....have fun.

God made a plant; He did not create it to be abused by humans. People are not banning the plant; they are banning the abuse of the plant.

Look, he didn't 'create' it. We turned it into a bad thing. For example, you could ask, why did God create the materials to make cigarettes? Well man used it and made it into a bad thing. So therefore He didnt give us marijuana. If He wanted us to use it, it's probably for medical purposes.

Lord Shiva (Hindu God) gav mankind marijuana for an "enjoyable pasttime."
It is also noted that many anceitn cultures used it as a medicine. And we today are attempting to have medicinal uses legalized, however the Govt. does its best to prevent this due to the politics of money - too many drug companies stand to lose billions of dollars if everyone starts lighting up instead of taking pills. Thanks Pfizer!

He probably did not make the plant and say.."Ok,adam,take this plant,roll it up in something,set and end of it on fire,and inhale."
I don't know what he made it for,but I don't smoke it because its not for me.You can go ahead and smoke it until every last one of your brain cells die though.I don't really care.I will just sit back and laugh.

Well, God created all things according to the bible. As for "Why" I would say to have people ask why he does things like that.

god created marijuana for good purposes such as for medicines but people took it wrong way and used marijuana for bad habit.
