Not exactly, but years ago when I was single I had a date with a guy and we were to meet at a restaurant at 8PM. At 8:30 when he still had not shown up, I decided I'd given him enough time and I left.
Apparently, he had an excuse for being late, came to my home, rang the doorbell and since my car was in the driveway refused to give up even when I didn't answer the door.
Finally, he went to his car, wrote me a note attempting to explain his lateness, slipped the note through the doorjam, and then began knocking hard on my front door.
I was so steamed that I phoned my friend who was a police officer and this guy was a bit taken aback when the officer showed up. Never saw him again but the next day the dolt sent me flowers. Can you believe how some people simply won't get that it isn't going to work?

Almost haha, but its worse than that. I was on a date couple nights ago and I wasn't really into my date that much, but I ended up meeting like 3 other guys that night lol and totally ignoring my date. So thats kinda like standing someone up I guess...don't worry about it....he'll get over it I'm sure!
