No, you were not too harsh, if he had brains, he would not have asked you the question in the first place.
Since you both like each other, and you are at least on hugging terms, he should make his intentions clear.. I think you should confront him. See what he has to say.
Its better to just end it now, then to have him cause you real heart ache down the road.

Harsh isn't the word. Immature is a better word to use. You may be misreading his interest because he's into your sister.
You were rude, and mean to someone who sees you as a friend.
You should apologize. Tell him that YOU like him, and you were upset when he asked about your sister when you thought he was into you. Tell him your reaction was immature, and that you are sorry.
He didn't deserve the way you reacted.

Could you have misinterpreted his question? Could he have been asking about your sister because someone else likes her and wanted to know?
I think you were way too harsh and acted foolishly. If you like him, don't let moments of jealousy get in the way of your relationship. So now you've spoken harshly to him and ignored him for a week....where did that get you? Instead you should have been coy and replied something more to the effect of: "She doesn't step in my territory." Learn to keep the guys you like close to you and then you won't risk losing them.

you're asking in etiquette in case you have been impolite adequate yet and the thank you to embarrass somebody? possibly you ought to take it to the Singles & courting section the place the youngsters draw close out and that they are going to severe-5 you for the purely juvenile rant you have composed. greater desirable yet, think of if this type of letter grew to become into being despatched to you and what you reaction must be. Why no longer purely deliver a private word fairly than placed up on his wall? What ethical superiority do you think of you will exhibit via behaving in a manner fairly worse than your sufferer? you are able to anger him to the element you endanger your self and your pal the two.

Maybe he was just joking or maybe he was asking for someone else. you should have been a little nicer. all he did was ask if you sister was going with anyone he never said for him. Give the guy a little slack. talk to him see what is up.
