who is a drunk?
but can maintain. like put the bottle down and make it to work on time, but still drinks almost everyday. whether they have to needs to likes to, whatever

i guess im trying to get people to admit its ok to get blasted all the time and have somewhat of a life.

My step-father-in-law. We call him a functioning drunk. He always has one of those athletic type bottles with vodka and OJ in it. I hope he doesn't take it to work as he and my mother in law work in the cafeteria of a elementary school, but I wouldn't put it past him. But his eyes are always red and watery. As long as he stick with the vodka he is OK but look out if he has a beer. He did that at a nephew's graduation party and he followed a ball out into the street, a very busy street and about got his butt run over. Kinda wish he would have. Sigh.

Only trouble I have is when there ain't none around or I run plumb out of money to get some. Always buy plenty so you never have to run out in the middle of the night as then you may have to either just go to sleep or run the risk of walking or driving to the nearest place to restock...
Beers are Good. A Little Wine is fine. Oh but I hate a Whiskey drunk...

My dad's dad was the forman of a well known dairy and he was a horrible alcoholic. Mean drunk.
