It's a boy and it's tortoishell tabby looking. I'd like something different but not silly or strange.

I am serious this is not a silly name, my cats name is longer and would take too long to write out in full, in fact it would take me all day.

I have a tabby cat and he is called Kai. He is beautiful. We have had loads of kittens (my females aren't neutered) so we regularly have to think of temporary names until they go to their new homes. The latest ones were Pablo, Austin and Marley. Our strangest name was Scragglepuss or Scrags for short, coz he was a really scruffy little thing. Hope you have lots of fun together!

The only advice I can give you on naming your new pet is to go looking through a baby name book or web site, writing down the names that stick to you. Then after you have your pet in hand go through your list and find the one(s) that suit him/her the best.

It has the same sort of letters as your id on here, it begins with T as does Tabby & Tortoiseshell ... & I'm sure that you do (or will) love your new kitten.
You could call him 'T' or 'Mo' for short.

i named all my cats after Egyptian pharohs at one time i had cleopatra zer zoser raneb sendgi and kaa a black cat named after the black spirit that sat under the pharohs arm to help guide him ,i also had a cat jenni who had a son i called jenson,and right now i have two cats called lodger because i found her as a stray and she kept coming and going for a while until she deciced to stay and cindyrella who is black and white but very beautiful,some other names i have used are jupiter,issis,treacle dominoe bruno whizz and dimi enjoy youre kitten they are a great joy to live with

I think the best name for your cat is Roshko or Roshav.I am from Bulgaria and in my language it means shaggy.But if you don't like it and if you think it is not proper for your you can name it Tigro.In Bulgarian it means tabby or tiger.:)
