I am selling a 2002 monte carlo ss "pace car" edition. It is red in color with leather, sunroof and all the added stuff. It has been parked in my garage for 4 years and only has 900 miles on it. It only comes out for parades and still has the price tag and plastic on the inside. What should i ask as a selling price?

www.kbb.com will tell you what you can ask. You really can not expect to get anything additional for after-market equipment unless you find a buyer that is interested in the same things. Otherwise you could always offer the vehicle to an auction house - like Barrett Jackson. They will get a commission, but that is the best place to find people who would appreciate and understand the special nature of this vehicle.

I'd start at $20K. You want the word to get out on this one. This is not just a used car. You want people to know this is one of a kind. See the reaction you get.

You might get some people in a bidding war!!

You might want to try looking it up on BlueBook.com. I think it's a very resourcful site for buying and selling cars. Ive used it many times. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Since it sounds like it is in excellent shape, you probably could ask anywhere between 18,000 and 20,000. Sounds reasonable!
