It all depends on the amount of ca$h your willing to spend, a classic Mustang will run $20-$30000 (depending on year and condition)
Does he want a car that's ready to go or a fixer upper?
Find a car, do research (on the net) ask a lot of questions, have a mechanic check it out and you should be fine.
