Klonopin is a benzo and very very addictive. I stopped benzos nearly three years ago and am still feeling the effects, probably because I stopped to quickly. Withdrawal from this drug has been studied by Dr. Heather Ashton in England and others and is well documented by published data. To get off it safely, you have to go very slowly, decreasing the dose over maybe a year. Please go to www.benzoisland.org where you can talk with others who are going through, or have gone through withdrawal, and who can help you. For more info, check out www.benzo.org.uk to learn what these drugs do.

I USED TO BE ON KLONOPIN FOR PANIC ATTACKS-DO NOT LOWER DOSE DRASTICALLY WITHOUT MD. CONSENT.-(I DID NOT FEEL GOOD WHEN I MISSED A DOSE HOWEVER). ONE THING THAT KLONOPIN AFFECTS IS THE MITRAL VALVE OF THE HEART.
PS.
.Withdrawal symptoms, similar in character to those noted with barbiturates and alcohol (e.g., convulsions, psychosis,, hallucinations, behavioral disorder, tremor, abdominal and muscle cramps) have occurred following abrupt discontinuance of clonazepam. The more severe withdrawal symptoms have usually been limited to those patients who received excessive doses over an extended period of time. Generally milder withdrawal symptoms (e.g., dysphoria and insomnia) have been reported following abrupt discontinuance of benzodiazepines taken continuously at therapeutic levels for several months. Consequently, after extended therapy, abrupt discontinuation should generally be avoided and a gradual dosage tapering schedule followed. Addiction-prone individuals (such as drug addicts or alcoholics) should be under careful surveillance when receiving clonazepam or other psychotropic agents because of the predisposition of such patients to habituation and dependence.

OH BOY. What you are able to have finished is long gone from 3 to 2 for 2 weeks. right down to a million for 2 weeks and then supply up. if your vomiting or produce different warning signs, including situation respiration, you are able to desire to dial 911 and get into the ER as you will be dealing with doubtlessly deadly Withdrawl. regardless of the undeniable fact that if there at the instant are not the different warning signs, you are able to sense a steady lesson of the subject concerns linked with klonopin very presently. interior the subsequent 2 to 3 days.

It may take up to a year to get it completely out of your system.
All the best.
