Ok, here is a website called soulasylumpoetry.com and artellawordsandart.com Also, myspace has groups on poetry and I believe you could even find a yahoo group as well.
I think there are 2 types of easy poetry. The first is the one where you have four lines. The last word of line 2 and the last word of line 4 rhyme.
The other is free verse. Free verse does not need to rhyme.
It can be written about anything.
In fact I believe the best poetry is free verse. Use your heart felt emotions, your experiences and passion.
I am a poet and write my poetry for my boyfriend but I wrote a special one for a friend.
It is entitled Ode to 30yrs of Friendship (free verse style)
Known her since I was four
Been through lots of scrapes
And troubles
Didn’t talk for a year
She hit me with a flat innertube because
I wouldn’t get out of her apple tree
Came back together
No one else to play with
Played with Barbies
And Paperdolls
And the Mystery Date Game
Sang to the Beatles
And Elvis’ Golden Records
Walked a Doberman pinscher
And talked about Mike and Conway
Reminding us of the
Fonz and saying “Aaaayy!”
Did a paper route for a month
Had a seizure
She brought me homemade cookies
And remained my best friend
Loved Bertie Higgins
And the show Doctor In the House
Had the most fun pretending
To be on the Love Boat
Always writing our own
Episodes at Fort Lawton
Is it Doc or Gopher?
I always preferred Gopher
Having our own radio show
Sister Sharon and Aunt Betty
Taping every episode
Staying overnight house sitting
At her Uncle’s house
Ordering Mushroom, Olive and Onion
Pizza from Pizza Hut
Watching 21 Jump Street
You falling in love with Johnny Depp
As Tom Hanson
And me falling in love with Peter DeLuise
As Doug Penhall
Purple plastic press-on nails
Falling into the Bowl of Popcorn
Walking Greenlake
And “plate of shrimp”*
Piano lessons Schubert, Mendohlsonn
And Beethoven
Bible study and riding bumpy hills
In your mom’s Volvo
Playing Cribbage and Uno for
Hours, and hours, and hours, and hours
For so many years
Swimming in the backyard
You so cold me excited to
Be freezing in the water
Innertubes and whirlpools
Chlorine and oars
Tents and flashlights
Whispering so parents didn’t hear
Giggling, Giggling, Giggling
Growing up talking about crushes
Playing tennis to find
We sucked giving up
Instead hit Baskin n Robbins
Math - Ugh , Ugh, Ugh
English, Choir
JUG another word
For Detention
The Mall our favorite hangout
The theater where we saw 9 to 5
A Jesuit Priest who wore
Tight yellow muscle shirts
And hung around the Cheerleaders
Seattle Prep Panthers and
Ugh the Receptionist
College and the Humanities,
Philosophy, Film, Religious Studies
The Crush and being crushed
Only to find out he felt
That I was his sister
You hugging me
Being my maid of honor
And Brandon’s Godmother
You more to me than my own sister
Always there for me in happy and sad times
Me proudly your Matron of Honor
At your wedding making you cry
Watching you Tango with your new
Husband and looking so elegant
Me wishing I had such grace and
That my husband would dance like
That with me.
Sharing so much then drifting away
Only to find out you were
Divorcing the Butthead
Me married seemingly happy
But not really
Not knowing how to say
What to say to you
You being there to pick up
A dog at the airport at midnight
When my sister failed me again.
The fateful day the affair
Is found out
You there for me once more
As I cry, cry, cry
Showing you all of the emails
Feeling lost but you were there
And gave me a hug
A hug that made me believe
Everything would be alright
Thanks for that it
Gave me the strength I needed
For the task at hand
You and I able to laugh
At how strange this all has
Worked out
Both Divorced we make a pair –
Always bound
How can I say – thank you
Is just not enough
There are not any words
To describe our friendship
We are more than friends
We are truly sisters
I have more but I am sure this is way too long already.

I have been writing all my life, both poetry and prose. The easiest way to do it is to sit down and make a list of images (important details about the person and the relationship like how they look or how they make you feel) and decide what you want to say about this person. Then, just go with it. Once you have a basic idea of what you want to say, read it out loud to decide where the line breaks and punctuation should be. A line break is a long pause like a hyphen and punctuation relates varied lengths of pauses (a comma [,] being the shortest and an elipses [...] being the longest). Good luck!

Don't get too mechanical about writing poetry -either the concepts and words come to you or they don't. Write about what you see and what you know. The only thing websites on poetry are going to give you are ideas that aren't your own. If anything, keep a journal on what you want to write about: experiences, feelings, details that catch your eye: someone's laugh, quirkiness, mannerisms, etc. Let your words flow from there.

I don't know. I always liked making fun of songs and replacing the lyrics with dirty limerics, even at an early age. Poetry probobly didn't start until I started taking English classes in elementary and middle school, cause I know I used to do stupid little haikus in school, when I was a kid. SO I'll guess and say five.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/WgOLy
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.
