I had this once and it is food stuck in between your teeth and gums believe it or not. It could be gingivitis too. Depending on how you brush. Good luck

You have gingivitis which is an infection of the gums . They get red for the same reason a cut or injury gets a reddened area around it . Use a soft brush and thoroughly clean every tooth after each meal ,supplement with an antiseptic mouthwash . It,s food debris decaying next to the gums that is the source of the bacteria causing the infection and you have to kill the bugs before your gums can heal!

YOU HAVE GINGIVITIS. THIS IS AN INFECTION OF THE GUMS.
BRUSHING MORE WILL NOT USUALLY HELP BECAUSE THE UNDERLYING CAUSE FOR THE INFECTION (THE PLAQUE AND TARTAR BELOW THE GUMS) HAS TO BE TREATED BY YOUR DENTIST.

it's called paradontitis (I don't know if I spelled it right. I am not an american). get you some mouthwash like lysterine and a soft toothbrush.
Mostly it's caused by bacterias. See a dentist and have your teeth
cleaned. There is also a cure for it. your dentist can provide you with all details and treatment.
