This is probably an allergic reaction. You would be wise to get tested for allergies if you haven't done this before. If it is not a major problem then just use sudafed for the stuffy nose and a good anithistamine for the sneezing.

It sounds a great deal like allergies to me. Are you normally sensitive to smells from other natural sources such as flowers or fresh-cut grass? How about around certain plants such as cottonwood trees or marygolds? Does your nose clog up around house dust? If so, there may be an ingredient in certain chemical scents that simply sets you off. If not, it may have to do with the propellant used in compressed deodorants such as Right Guard. Spray deodorants also tend to have anti-perspirants, which can dry and irritate the linings of the sinuses if inhaled (spray deodorants leave a cloud of suspended particles long after they've been applied, which is why the whole room smells like the deodorant after someone uses it).

Sound like you have allergic rhinitis, when you inhale these fragrances the sensitive lining in your nose is telling the brain it is under attack from a foreign source (the deodorant) The natural defence of the body is the flush out the area immediately, this means sneezing and producing mucus, just enough to make your nose run and remove the irritant.

My husband insists on using aerosol deodorant and it literally gets right up my nose. Like you, it seizes up my synus and makes me sneeze. Once it's been on a few minutes, it's OK, it's the actual spraying that affects me.
I've banned him from the bathroom. He has to spray in the spare bedroom and shut the door after him! Avoidance! That stops it.

Sounds very much like an allergy. Consult your GP, you may need some allergy testing, and then you may be able to get a deodrant that you are not allergic to.
