These are individual lengths/strands that are hot-glued to my own hair (not a weave, and not glued to my scalp).

These were done professionally. I should have not used the term 'hot glue', but the machine used to bond them to my hair resembled a type of glue gun. I know that the salon has oil to remove them, I was just looking for some type of home method that would be cheaper.

first of all, don't hot-glue your extensions in. go to a beauty salon store and they should have oil make for getting extensions out.

you may extremely damage your hair like that. i dont recognize if this may artwork yet perhaps you may attempt to adhere to warmth with a blow dryer to the sections with the glue so the glue can get smooth sufficient that you'll comb it out. make confident you do each and each and every area one after the different, you dont favor the glue to dry up and grow to be problematical on your hair. solid success

Not sure, your probably better off going to the salon, you don't want to damage your own hair.

you have to get it professionally removed, just in case. you wouldnt want your own hair to get harmed. its safer to go to the beauty salon.
