For all those who choose to bash and tarnish anybody or anything that has anything to do with Jesus, I ask why? Can we not serperate Jesus from those who sometimes unfairly characterize Him as a condeming, unrelenting, "your going to hell", type God? The New Testimant message was about reconciliation to God through Jesus. It was not about religion, but about the love of God, and the desire He has for us to know Him. As a matter of fact Jesus spoke on this specificly by saying, "And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' " God is not religion, or denomination. He is all that is good and pure, shown through the power of His Son Jesus.

I think a few ppl here are confusing people who *label* themselves Christians and the real thing ...
I am a born-again Bible-believing Christian and I hate no man. I try to become Christ-like in that I try to exhibit the qualities He has. This is not a statement of self-righteousness, it is to illustrate that I have a Christ-like affection for all of you here. This means those who are non-believers and believers alike.
I was once lost, I haven't forgotton that and neither have I given up holding my hand out into the waters for those who are still floundering. I understand where you are, Jesus understands that too.
Nopt all of us hate the sinner. Like Jesus, I hate the sin. But I love the sinner.
Never has there been more truth in this common old phrase - Jesus Loves You.
God bless you all :)

Ultimately, no, we cannot.
The whole story begins with Judiasm. Judiasm was given many prophecies about the coming of a great king of Israel, HaMasiach, and these prophecies were extremely specific in many ways. Without Judiasm, there would have been no HaMasiach.
Enter Jesus. His teachings are expressly given for the Jews (He says as much in the Great Commissioning). He never performs a single healing. EVERY time he 'heals' in the Bible, what does he tell the person? "Go, YOUR FAITH has healed you." He violates Jewish law many, many times. He fails to fulfill the biggest prophecy of all -- a total end to war and sin; not an end to their effects but to their very EXISTENCE. HaMasiach was to be a mortal man, not divine, he was never to have a second coming or eternal life (the 'prophecies' refered to in Isaiah 9 by christians are fulfilled in Isaiah 38 & 39).
Fast forward a bit and you have Saul who tries to obey the Great Commissioning and is rebuked by the Jews who knew the prophecies. So Saul intentionally and knowingly violates the Commissioning and takes his news to the Gentiles. Of course the Gentiles accepted it; they were not Jews and therefore did not know the prophecies and all the knowledge surrounding them that had been built up.
Much of modern Christianity is based on Paul's teaching, which only compounds the error.
When will you Christians realize that Jesus could not have been the awaited Messiah?

Part of it probably has to do with the fact that not all of us are Christian (by choice) and don't want to be preached to. We understand that God is great and Jesus loves you and we're happy for you... really. We just aren't interested. But some people don't seem to understand that and keep pushing and pushing.
For others, it's simply the benefit of an anonymous forum. Since no one knows who they really are, they feel that they can talk trash and behave in a manner that most would not dare if they were in a face-to-face conversation.

What if we go deeply into other religions and explain their beliefs as you are doing with your religion right now? Would you listen or deny it? How do you stereotype other religions when you believe they are false? Do just keep talking about your religion and why its true or do you just listen to them preach? So if your for Jesus, than your anti-other religions . No matter what, the world seems to be about criticizing everything to gain an individual understanding. You cant just have people feed you information you want to hear. You must gather up all the facts and apply your knowledge to solve your individual beliefs. Am I anti-Jesus or something?

Frankly that is what we are up against. Look what Christ was up against and he was Gods Pure Representative. We just have to state the facts and if they do not accept peacefully move on. I have much to say against mans interpretation of the Bible and Things changed by King Constantine and things taken out by him. Read book You Mean That's in the Bible by Satyaraja dasa only a few dollars at http://www.krishnaculture.com But Jesus Christ, how can any one but a demon criticize him. Get the lost teachings of Christ http://www.essene.org

Peace be with you,
You are correct when you say "God is not religion, or denomination. He is all that is good and pure".
This is why GOD in the Quran finally revealed the name of the Religion. The Arabic words Islam and Muslim literally means one who submits to the will of GOD. All of this shown through ALL of the Prophets.
Peace be with you,

Jesus told us beforehand that we would be hated by the unsaved:
Luke 21:17 and you will be hated by all because of My name.
And that we would be persecuted for our faith. (read Matt 5)
He is the Light and those in darkness don't want what is in the dark exposed.
John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life"
It is good to remember to speak the truth in love to those who are unsaved, Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross to pay the penalty for sin. Everyone needs to know that they need that payment, that they need salvation. We are to be witnesses to the world. Pray for opportunities to share your faith.
I agree Christianity isn't a religion it is a relationship with Christ.

( personaly I think its all fairytales with some good ethics tossed in the mix just to confuse the masses )

Your God is great and you are not, they are doing it because they know God is love,He will not hold it against them you should be grateful for their actions, cos it shows how well you have followed God' words and if Christianity is not a religion then why you have The Father and the son?

It's not anti Jesus talk. It's anti Jesus' followers who insist on bashing the rest of us over the heads with their beliefs talk.
I have nothing against Jesus. Never have. I think he's a swell guy, even if I don't consider him my savior.
Blessed be!
