to believe that Jesus Christ is real that he did die on the cross and that He did it because He loves us? So many try to rule Jesus out but why? I'll never not believe in Him but it frustrates me that so many don't believe!!

Maybe because so many who wear His name don't follow His teachings.

You have to understand that many people don't have the ability to see things as clearly as you do. Did you always believe? There must have been a time when you didn't. No one is born believing in Jesus....we somehow come across the gospel and receive it. Remember that people are searching for answers....and sometimes they really resent hearing that there is only one way to God....which is what Jesus said about Himself, that there is no other way. That's why when we speak the word, we must always do it in love and humility.

I know it's hard to understand why many don't want to have anything to do with Jesus. But remember, even when He walked the earth, many wanted nothing to do with Him then, either.

Anyone who says he never existed is lying. There was a guy named Jesus back in the day.Whether he really WAS the son of God who resurrected after dying is debatable.
I am a Christian, and I believe that he is the son of God and the only way to heaven.Others think that the matter is illogical(which it is in a human mind) and choose too dismiss the matter because of this.People have the right to choose thier path in life, and there is nothing that can be done to change this.

This is why it has been 2000 years and Jesus has not come back yet. We try to save as many of those lost souls as we can, and just think how many are out there just by the few you meet here! You are going to take some grief for this question, but it is a good one. God Bless..*

Why do you care? Does it affect you that I don't believe in god or Jesus?

It doesn't bother me that you do.

Because there is no physical proof of his existence, let alone his crucifixion (bible accounts? Sure.. they were written decades after his alleged existence).

The notion of there even being a man born of a virgin who was knocked up by god is just absurd. And, if Jesus was god in human form, would that make him his own dad?

Can you say.. Eww!?

Simple.Look at it from A worldly and earthly point of view. They didn't see it,so it never happened.Glad it doesn't work that way in the military. As they say,if it's not written down, then it never happened.
The bible is printed with Christ's words in red.It happened. For some people,it will take Divine rattling of the cage to get their attention, and it won't be pretty.

Not to be rude...*chuckle, chuckle*; But may I make a suggestion?
You believe the Jesus is real, that he died on the cross, that he did it out of his love for mind kind...So what do you have to worry about? If our Catholic faith is the "right" one...then your pretty, Lilly white, soul is safe.
Stop worrying about everyone Else's and you'll sleep a lot better at night.

Believing in Christ forces us to be accountable for our sinful nature. If we believe in Christ we become responsible for our sin and try to improve on those things which cause us to be in sin even though we know there is no chance of being sin free (at least not our temporal bodies) as long as we are living on earth.
I guess it just scares some people to know what they really are.

You'll forever be searching for validation until you deal with the origination of your need for it. I can assure you your void has nothing to do with your neighbors' lack of salvation. Maybe you'd feel better if you took on some real causes, like children's wefare. Just a suggestion. . .
