I would like to know why muslims keep attacking the Bible by calling it corupt?

and keep attacking cristians by calling them infidels and still they demand respect ( from christians )for their own religion ??

Ms Preety ,u r right ur belief teach u that ,I agree totaly with u ,u say that gospel of John was written years after Jesus was raised to heaven so couldnt be accurate ,what abt Mohamed ?? He came 732 years after Jesus ,he didnt knew Jesus not even his his disciples but u muslims still believe he came with the truth !! U muslims are verry funny :)) Ohh I know u will tell me that he got revelations from Allah ....to ur kind information Mohamed didnt got his revelations from Allah but from an angel ,who name himself Gabriel , all other prophets from Bible ( read the Bible) got the revelations from God directly without any intermediars only Mohamed did . So God didnt bothered himself to talk to the "last and the most important prophet" like he did with the previous prophets and he sent an angel instead to bring such an important message like a new book ??? U see dear muslims ,if u dont know Biblie u r so easy to be deceived ........anyway thanks for ur answer .

Gnostic Christians also view the "accepted" version of the Bible corrupt. Not, mind you, the Teachings that are contained therein, but more specifically the fact that so much was left out after the Council of Nicea, simply because the various factions couldn't agree on them. Because of this, the modern Bible tends to be supportive of the dominant branch of the 4th century Catholic church, not of what necessarily happened. Since Christians, Gnostics, Muslims, and various other faiths trace their lineage back to a common point, perhaps it is the fact that we each see that common history thorugh the eyes of those who came before that renders the other opinions "corrupt"?

We say the bible is corrupt because this is part of our belief as Muslims. Sorry if you feel offended, but I'm telling you the truth.

Just think about it yourself. How it could be the Gospel of the Messiah Jesus son of Marry while it was written years after he was raised to heaven? I really wish you realize it, it's not only that we were told about it through Quran, it's also none sense to think that the bible you have nowadays is the true scriptures of Jesus (pbuh) while it was written after he was raised.

And yeah, we don't call you infidels, we call you people of the book.

Calling it corrupt is because it has been translated and rewritten so many times by man, it is no longer the word of GOD, the original Gospel (Injil in Arabic) is lost. If you change one word of GOD's it is no longer the word of GOD. No true Muslim should attack Christians. We are told by GOD in the Quran there is no compulsion in Religion. You have your Religion and I have mine.
