He is Satan, he can also go bye the Devil, Satan, The Beast, and Lucifer. He is all the same, he is heavens fallen angel and therefore he lives in the fiery pits of hell for all eternity!

Technically there is no Lucifer in the original Bible. Lucifer the name came about when the early Roman Christians (modern-day Catholics and the first state organized Christian religion) tried to convert Greeks and Romans who still believed in the old Greco-Roman gods like Zeus and Venus and such. Lucifer was the morning star in that mythology. But the Christians started saying he was formerly an angel (a similar post to what Lucifer--a god of light and a signal that day was coming because he was the morning star--held in the old mythology) who went against God and became Satan.
This convinced quite a few Greeks and Romans to turn away from their old mythology as the beginnings of evil, and to turn to Christianity. Lucifer eventually showed up in the original Catholic bible and just remained there through subsequent Catholic bibles (which are different from most other bibles). He would be one of the first compromises to the faith that the Catholic religion would make in their attempt to turn people to Christianity. A good intention doesn't excuse a bad lie in my book, but not everyone agrees with me.

A mistranslation. It should have been Venus, referring to the planet glowing like a large bright star in the morning sky. It was just an anology, a comparison, not a formal name. (There are very few husbands who are actually have their name listed as Honey on their birth certificate, for example.) The verse is about a king of Babylon, possibly Nebuchadnezzar.
The assumption that Lucifer is Satan comes from outside the bible, as does the assumption that the serpent in Genesis is Satan.

Lucifer is a shoddy latin translation that really means "howl", like a wolf howls at the moon. The modern Bibles have rightfully taken "Lucifer" out, and replaced it with the original greek meaning which is the phrase "morning star".
Lucifer appears in the shoddy King James translation, and it appears only once. The proverb which is mistakenly believed and taught as referring to Satan is actually referring to the King of Babylon.
Satan was never an angel. Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Also: Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and [there is] none else.
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things.
Also: Isa 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
And who is it that has come to destroy?
Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Who is it who Christ tells us that he is the original murderer, who was created to "steal to kill and to destroy?"
Joh 8:44 Ye [You Jews which believe on me] are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
When was Satan a murderer from? The beginning, not a light bringing angel who turned from God.
Hope that helps.

Lucifer was created as an archangel by God, however, pride got to him and he wanted to be like God and started a war in heaven in which he took a third of the angels with him to fight against God. He then was cast to the earth and became Satan...I think that some of this scenario is chronicled in parts of the book of Job, some in Isaiah and some in other parts of the bible.
Isaiah 14: 12 How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart,
"I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. [a]
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High."
15 But you are brought down to the grave,
to the depths of the pit.

Lucifer was the Anointed Cherub. Anointed means to be set apart for Gods Divine purpose. It also means "bestowal of Gods divine favor", and "appointment to a special place or function." God had given Satan a certain amount of power and authority. But he perverted that power. Lucifer wanted to exalt himself above God... rather than "just" being the Angel of God.
Note: I don't know why someone gave me a thumbs down I
gave an honest answer *sigh*.

Lucifer is the devil. Which is basically the angel of hell. Do you know that he once was an angel in heaven but he had wanted to be like god and therefor got thrown out of heaven for blasphemy! Yeah but anyways it's the correct biblical term for the devil.

Many scholars believe the following verses describe the fall of Satan. Some believe it refers to the King of Babylon. Some verses are symbolic and can refer to more than one person or event.
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Lucifer was Satan's name before he became Satan.
You see he used to be an angel in heaven; in fact many scholars assert he was in charge of the music in heaven.
But one day he was so popular and so arrogant he tried to take over heaven. He got a third of the angels on his side. But God defeated him. He and all his friends were kicked out of heaven. They landed on earth, where they continue to harrass God's servants.
