Afterall, they failed to accomplish there mission. When the rest of us fail we get fired.

Why should we get a pay cut?? Do you realize that the very men and women that protect your right to post crap like they don't make that much as it is?? The average person joining the military right now with a wife and child can qualify for food stamps. The military is on call 24/7 and doesn't get paid nearly what's due them. Their benefits are cut constantly and you think they deserve a pay cut because they failed to accomplish their mission. In the first place, when did we fail?? As far as I know, we're still in Iraq and rebuilding the country. We're bringing freedom to a people that need it and keeping terrorists at bay.
I think the only person that's probably a failure here is you. If you think they deserve a pay cut or that they've failed, I dare you to go spend just a week in their boots. Let's see what kind of attitude you have then.

Let's see. when I was in I worked many 12-18 hour days, weekends and holidays and never even thought about asking for overtime pay. Spent many many days, weeks and months away from my family, leaving them to fend for themselves while I was away protecting your right to ask that silly question. The answer is NO. The military has accomplished every mission they have been given by their commanders. The ones who have failed here is the civilian leadership. Fire them.

Okay just bc a wing, platoon, etc. fail a mission dont mean they all do! You do not know anything about the military all I can hope for is for you not to be an American Citizen because you sure the hell do not deserve to be one!

Look, I'm not crazy about how things have been going, but that's a leadership failure. The troops on the ground are doing their jobs. They are in danger every day and they already aren't paid enough to live on. They deserve our support and much better pay and benefits than they get for doing this really tough and dangerous job.

we don't have a clear cut mission in iraq. soldiers are accomplishing alot in iraq, you just don't see that portrayed in the news as much as the destruction, death, and body counts. the armed forces isn't really in a position to start firing soldiers anyways. their aren't enough people enlisting in the military. then we might have to reinstate the draft and end up with people like you who ask pointless questions to pi@@ people off.

I am married to a british serviceman who has twice served in Iraq and I think the Americans like the Brits are doing the best they can even though they do not want to be there!!!
Have a bit of pride in your countries servicemen I know we do over here. Remember all those lives lost over the years and what they were fighting and dying for. US, our way of life and freedom.

What mission are you talking about? Every Soldier there accomplishes their given missions daily.
You are one of these people that hates our Military, yet you run to us when something threatens your way of life. It's trash like you that makes it hard for Soldiers to maintain a strong sense of accomplishment from their sacrifices to protect your sorry ***.
