ever since i started using Vaseline, i started to get rashes

Maybe you are allergic to petroleum products. Change to another cream and see if that helps or you could be clogging your pours and getting acne from it in which case you should change to a product that is noncomogenic.

The best thing to do would be to stop using Vaseline.

Switch to K-Y jelly. The petroleum in the vaseline may be causing a reaction.
