well a good scare like a loud HEY ! while she's doing it will eventually discourage her. that's called negative reinforcement. but you have to have the situation exist in order to properly train in that capacity.

Sorry, but it's one of the woes of owning a cat. They love Christmas trees. The first thing that you can do is make sure you don't hang ornaments too low. Secondly, trim branches that hang low as well. She's less likely to be interested in them if they don't touch her or they are hard to get to. Finally, keep up with the squirting.

We eventually got a beautiful fake tree and the cat leaves it alone, for the most part. If I see him take interest in something on it, I move it. Honestly, we now have more problem with the dog playing with the tree over the cat. LOL. Good luck to you. : )

Well, we put ornaments that the cats can play with on the bottom of the tree and they play with those and pretty much leave the rest of the tree alone. Or if you want her to stay away from the tree completely then just keep it up with the water bottle. Cats are stubborn, but she'll eventually get the picture.

Yeah, LOL, have fun. It's too much like the outdoors even if it's an artificial tree. I don't know of any way to stop a kitten from climbing it. I have pics of my kitten at the very top of the tree. Way too funny !

continue to spray the cat. but mix the water w/ 1/2 solution of vinegar. Say no to the cat before you spray. the cat will lick itself after being sprayed. Hey do not like that taste at all.

there is some stuff called BOUNDARY but I'm not sure how well it will work for your kitten, might try it. Other than that there's really no way other than shock wire and I doubt you want to go that extreme.

When I was a kid my dad took wire and tied the tree up to the wall.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
