You will be contagious until you have been on your antibiotic regimen for 24 hours. So it really depends on when you start your antibiotics but if you have not been to md and had strep test it could be something else like a virus, mono or sinus draining from allergies or cold.

You will need to stay home until you are no longer contagious...2-3 days and take all your antibiotics.
