I don't get why people are calling the asker such horrible things. Cheating is bad, yes, but guess what: 50 percent of people in committed relationships have admitted to cheating so half of you people are no better than he is. I'd just leave her and not tell her if I were you. Adding insult to injury doesn't help and she'll find out sooner or later since women always do. I'm not going to join in on the stone throwers and say "oh she deserves better" and blah blah blah because I don't know the conditions of your situation just like everybody else here.

Its been my experience as the "one cheated upon" and "the friend who knows" that if you tell the person might not care enough to leave their guy. This will frustrate you to no end and you'll hate being around the guy and your friend will know that and everything will just be WIERD. If I know something I will give the facts and that's it. If I'm asked my opinion on how it looks I'll go ahead and say. If I'm not sure I keep my mouth shut. No one wants to leave without facts...too much turmoil is involved.
AS the one being cheated on I would want my friends to do the same. If you're positive and you have facts...bring it.If you don't keep it to yourself. Don't expect a guy to rat out his friend though. That's unlikely.

Because:
1. Guys normally do not rat about other guys cuz most of them does it too. Besides, they are his friends. What about your girlfriends?
2. Would you have believed it if anyone told you while you were still in the relationship and still madly in love?
3. Besides, friends, more often than not, would give you "space" especially when you tell them you are happy with your relationship. They would not want to burst your bubble besides whistle blowers are looked at like traitors. Only family members can say these things to your face and not even sometimes.

People wont tell you because they dont want to get in the middle of it. What usually happens is they tell, the girl stays with the guy anyway and that person loses two friends. Most do cheat. Get on board with that.

First of all, not everyone cheats, and anyone who tells you that is an idiot. You're not being naive. As for your question about people not telling you, they don't want to dime their boy out. If it's your friends, they don't want to hurt you. Also, they want you to figure it out for yourself. If could be that they didn't want to tell you because they didn't think you'd believe them. That's been the case with me a couple times. Also, if anyone tells you it's human nature to cheat is an idiot too.

In my experiances, it seems that your friends are too affraid to tell you what your boyfriend is doing behind your back simply because they think that you wont beleive them. Maybe that's why they dont tell you until after you dump him. Especially if you have friends that are insecure about theirselves.

because when people are in love and you rat one of them out a lot of times they wont believe you and get mad at you. when they break up they believe the truth much better.
