A Good relationship is not one without problems, but one that has endured them and overcame problems. The way I see it if he doesn't have your back it's not worth it!

Some people are used to having it all and to me don't have the guts or back bone it takes if problems come up in the relationship. They would rather run and find something easier to handle than stay and work things out not realizing that most all relationships are tested with some kind of problem. That's a cowardly way of doing things and people whose life has been a bed of roses will run in a minute.

Because people don't want to work anymore on staying together, its too easy to leave and meet someone else rather then to stick it out and deal with the problem at hand with the one they are with when half the time they aren't even sure if they want to be with you or not. I am sorry but in todays society this is just how it is. No one wants to work anything out. They would rather go from partner to partner and end up alone rather then figure out what 'real love' is. Its hardly worth getting into relationships anymore. It is rare to find anyone 'REAL'. I hope you and your partner do stick it out and fix whatever problems you have together, it can be fixed. But it takes two to fix it. Blessed be.

Because we live in a society that promotes unstable relationships through commercial means, on television, in movies, commercials, hell even our favorite actors and actresses tell us that its fantastic to give up and go out looking for a new partner, rather than honestly and openly communicating with the one person that they themselves decided to spend the rest of their lives with.
Its a clear cut case of instant gratification, rather than a person working hard and seeing the fruits of their labor grow and flourish.
It's like wanting the fruit before you even plant the seed for the tree in the ground.

i know this very well, the simple thing is... fear fear of being hurt and the possibility of broken heart. people figure if they end it soon or on their term it will hurt less. fear empowers people the most in relationships you just have to find a way to overcome that fear and replace all your insecurities with love and hope;advice i must take myself.
