they are generally in high end gift shops that sell royal doulton, and are called Toby Mugs. You could also check online, just type toby mugs into a search engine

Check out Ebay. Or type in "character mugs" in the search field of your yahoo home page. You should find lots of stores that offer what you are looking for.

You will find them for the lowest prices at the Goodwill store (they have tons of them that people donate ) and yard sales or tag sales. All thrift stores usually have tons of them and the only down side is it takes time to find the ones you're looking for. Have you tried Ebay?

E-Bay would probably be the best. Also, Disney.com. Kind of depends on what theme you are looking for.
