Yeah, so I've been talking to this guy for 9 months and I really like him. He also likes me too. But the deal is, we met on-line and we live far apart from each other. I really want us to be a couple. But the problem is....I'm afraid of this and that.....and I haven't been on the dating scene in a while. What should I do?

Don't waste your time travelling, it'll show him that you're worth less than he is and willing to do more. Give him hints, ask if he'd like a holiday and if he gets it he'll suggest meeting. Your fears are just rubbish in your head by the way, don't listen!

The good or bad of net friendship or dating is that people can talk nice things for 9 months or even more without actually meaning a single word typed or uttered. The guy might turn out to be good or bad. Its your luck. Without coming close physically, its impossible to determine what kind of a guy he really is. If you are planning to marry, meeting him and observing him up and close for a while would be the most sensible thing to do.

Don't do anything.
Find a real thing close by, if he visits you fine go out with the person. Very few good ending, lots of heart burns and disappointments. Be careful.
If you must, spend time and money on PI(Private Investigator) first.

Are you sure, its not a fake. Ask for photo. Make sure that its a genuine person. While meeting him first time, get someone with you.
