I find it hard to believe you could be that small, but anyway, it's not unethical. It's a nude beach, so you can't cover it.

RE:
Why is it unethical to get an erection on a nude beach?
I dont understand why it is unethical for a guy to get an erection on a nude beach. I went to a nude beach last weekend and I am 33 years old. I found that for some reason the women don't like to go nude but instead wear G String Bikinis or thongs or even a one peice. Well, when I walk along...

Unless that you were showing your erection to people or acting weird, there should be nothing wrong with having an erection on a nude beach. Without looking at any women in particular, you could still get an erection in that situation. You could be excited by just the thought of so many women seeing you naked.

I think that girl sounds like the one with the problem. It's natural for a man to get an erection when around lots of hot naked chicks. I know I always do. If you don't guys getting erections stay home. Unfortunately most of the ones I see at nude beaches are usually the kind of women you don't even want to look at when they have clothes.

There are a lot of people out there who through their upbringing and lack of knowledge about the facts of the body, failt o realize that a male getting an erection is not an indication of anything sexual. They seem to have to associate an erection as an indication the man want sex and he is showing the erection to get someone to satisfy him. Thus their attitudes are goignt o cause their prudihs natures and dirty minds to prevail to the point of displaying their disgust at an erect penis.
Little do they realize that men get erections regularly and they are not always associated with a demand for sex. In fact men get erect every 45 minutes when asleep and I doubt they are consciously requireing sex when asleep. Some men get erect in locker rooms or on beaches or other venues when they are exposing their bodies. Here it is more apt to be a sense of embarassment than a craving for sex. But alas, the uninformed will think what they like and cause a scene when it suits their prudishness. Which explains to a large extent why all beaches are not permissive of going naked.

If a woman is on a nude beach, she should suspect that she may see a man with an erection. I don't think it should "offend" anyone. If it offends a woman (or man for that matter), then maybe she/he should consider going to a regular beach where body parts are completely covered.

those who are common at a clothing optional beach would find you a "newbie" that you have an arousal when others seem nonchalant at nudity just be proud that you are still able to get aroused most of the men on nude beaches have seen so much female flesh it no longer arouses them
P.S. those who find you attractive will be impressed that you find them the same

Nude beaches are all about sensuality and freedom rather than sexuality...and it's important for guys to know the difference. We know that guys get erections at the nude beach, especially if they've never been there before. It's a natural reaction to being around so many naked girls, and we certainly understand that.
What we do object to is the way you handle it (no pun intended). The discreet and respectful thing to do is to simply turn over and lie on your stomach until it passes, or run into the water and keep it covered until the water does the trick. Playing with it, stroking it or waving it in our faces (believe me, as a girl who spends lots of time at the nude beach, I've seen it done!) is an inappropriate behavior, as is walking along with it bobbing up and down on display.
The nude beach is all about respect for others, and the ability to enjoy nudity in an appropriate, non-sexual situation.
Your erection would be perfectly appropriate and welcome in the bedroom...on the beach, it's best kept from public view.
If you're concerned about it happenning again, you might consider taking matters "into your own hands" before you leave for the beach. That might cool you down for awhile and allow you to get comfortable with the nudity you'll definitely encounter.
Hope this information is helpful, because the nude beach is an awesome place...don't mess it up for yourself or others.

Apart from Nudie Chick it's obvious very few here have actually been on a nude beach.
Firstly, it is perfectly possible for a man to control his erection.
Secondly, a nude beach is strictly non-sexual. By the very fact that you've got an erection shows you're being sexual and, by walking along the shore-line, you're deliberately flaunting that fact.
What amazes me is that only one girl called you a pervert!

I know! It sounds retarded to me. Not like men can really control it. As a woman, I would probably turn bright red, giggle, and look away and be all, "Omg...", But I would not be offended. Just a little embarassed.
