I'm about to drink some beer after having a couple of glasses of wine.. is this ok? or should i drink beer before i drink wine?

It is not recommended, you will get a strong headache in the morning, even if you don't drink excessive beer, 2 glasses of wine is a lot, just stick to one thing. Not good mixing. Beer is very very high in calories and carbs too.

They also say : Liquor before beer and your in the clear Beer before Liquor and youve never been sicker.. Although this has nothing to do with wine its always a good rule of thumb. Wine has a lot of sulfites in it (this is what gives some people a hangover) If your trying to avoid getting sick, or a hangover, eat cheese with your wine...For whatever reason it is this keeps the hangovers away..and that sick feeling too.

We're all different. We all have different tolerances. Some people get smashed on a single glass of wine, but can drink a lot of beer and stay OK. The rule is, suck it and see!

The rule of thumb is never mix hard liquor with beer. So based on the rule the answer would be neither way. Stick to wine or to beer but not both. If you mix them you will feel awful in the morning.

I have done that often at dinner. Before dinner a few glasses of wine followed by beer with dinner. No problemo.

It does not matter. I can remember back in the flower power days we drank wine a beer all the time. It was real popular then. Of course LSD was too.
