if you were 50 pounds overweight, that is unhealthy too. 50 pounds in 3 months is a bit fast, but it sounds like you are eating a healthy diet.

If you lose weight too fast you might get all wrinkly looking, like one of those dogs! It's true, I've seen it.

You should only lose 2-3 pounds a week. At that rate you are also more likely to keep it off. 50lb in 3 months is too much too fast - aim for 30 pounds. Eat 1600 carlories a day broken down into 5 small meals every 3-4 hours (breakfast-400, snack-200, lunch-400, snack-200, supper-400).

Losing 50 pounds in 3 months is never healthy, no matter how it is done. This excessive weight loss shows that your body is being starved. Weight loss should be gradual. About 5 pounds per month is a realistic goal.

If you switched to a different eating habit, like is done on the Fat Smash diet, you may see an initial spike in weight loss. Much of this loss is your body's response to the change in diet and the subsequent loss in water weight. Unfortunately, these are the types of diets that will cause people to gain more weight than they started with when they end the diet.

You should change your goals to be more realistic. As I said, aim for 1 pound per week, or 5 pounds per month. This can be accomplished through healthy eating and regualr exercise.

50 pounds in only 3 much is pushing it. You just need to exercise and drink lots of water. And you want to make sure that you don't exercise too much - start out slow. And make sure that you drink a lot of water and eat 5 or 6 little meals a day. And don't starve yourself. Don't count on losing that much weight. It's better to tell yourself that you're not going to loose that much - but then if you do you feel so great. Then telling yourself that you will loose that much weight and then not loose it - and feel so bad about yourself. Be careful.

Plus you'd have to exercise, too.

That works out to 4.16 lbs. a week (4.16 x 12 weeks=49.92 lbs.)

That is a lot to lose so quickly and very hard to do. When you lose weight that fast, when you start eating normally again (adding carbs, potatoes, rice, bread) you will not only gain it all back, but you will gain more.
