it all depends on what you call a reasonable price... I prefer French wines and believe me, there are good botlles for about £5. Choose a Canon-Fronsac or a Graves, even a wine from the south of France: a Fitou is delicious en not expensive. Cheers

Try this!!! I am a bartender and rave reviews about this all the time! Menage a Trois red. Its a Red blended wine from California. Combination of Cabernet, Merlot and Zinfandel grapes. Nice full bodied wine with an awesome smooth finish! Amazing and it won't break your bank either!

Australian Yellow Tail-For your cash you are going to get an
absoulutely incredible bottle of wine that will not only leave you impressed but leave your guest very impredded as well.
Another great red would be from Golfer Greg Normans Winery
Again an outstanding group of wines

Cono Sur Pinot Noir or Merlot, very good Chilean reds at around £5-6 mark. See also Errazuriz and Casillero del Diablo.

just tried (i think this is how you spell it) castillero del diablo at the weekend, and it was really nice. costs about 5-6 pounds a bottle. any wolf blass red is pretty good too. stick to aussie or chilean, usually there the best and reasonably priced.

I agree with whoever said Yellow Tail. You will recognize it by the kangaroo on the bottle.
I also like Blackstone.
Shiraz is the type I would usually go for as I think it makes the best type of all-around table wine.

what's your price? Hardys, Penfolds are good for five or six quid, and there's a US wine that's got a label like two diamonds stuck together - very good - it's on most supermarket shelves but for some reason nobody ever brings it to our house.
