Didn't God create everything? And doesn't he never make mistakes? Then ask yourself: why is there homosexuality

Don't question my beliefs, God is the only one who judges. So stop asking me "you call yourself a Christian?" YES, I do. I believe in God, I believe in his message, I love Him and I love Jesus. Got it?

I know how you feel Brynn,
I understand that you all say it goes against the bible, and I don't need verses, I know where they are, But The Bible ASLO teaches toloerance.
So what yeah it is "against the teachings of christ"
But It is not up to us mere mortals to judge others for their actions.
"Let he who is without si cast the first stone."
All the above answers are what keeps my faith, TOLERANCE.
Thank you all for practicing the true christian guidlines.
God Bless. ( Catholic raised, wiccan beliefs)

I wouldn't call it intolerant. The way I see it,and the way that God sees it, is to hate the SIN not the SINNER. I mean look at who Jesus was hanging out with. Thieves, liars, etc. (I believe there is a Third Day song about that) Anyways, as Christians we are to strive to be like Him even though we sin all the time, every single day. The difference between us and some others is that we ask for forgivness. So no I don't think that I am intolerant. I would not, not hang around someone because of their sin because I have my own to bear.

God didnt create sin and their is no evidence that people were born to be homosexual. how can you call yourself a Christian and then not believe in the bible?? You can't have the best of both worlds, you can't call yourself a christian and then try to fit in with the world. Also as Christians we're called to hate the sin, but love the sinner.

Um, Im a christian and Im not intolerant, I have no problem with homosexuals, and only become irritated by people who disagree with my beliefs when they resort to personal attacks. I maybe be a tolerant Christian, but Im not going to let them walk over me, thats just not the person I am.
I have learned alot from people with deferring beliefs and opinions, and have not ever spoken poorly of homosexuals. Not all Christians are that way, and if you stay on the board long enough, you'll find that there are many like you.

Brynn. I recall a question you asked earlier. Invocation to Venus?
How can you claim to be Christian when you are serving another God?
Being a Christian means that we follow what God's word the Bible says, not what we want it to say, or what we may change the words to say. There are direct principles in the Bible against homosexuality. Now, I'm not going to go running up and down the street with a sign against homosexuals. But I'm not going to be the one holding signs up against abortion in front of an abortion clinic, nor the one holding signs against adultery in front of some night-clubs, nor am I going to sit in front of the White house with signs saying "why can't we all just get along?"
As a Christian, I would say that I'm just trying to see things the way God sees them. He won't tolerate homosexuals, just as much as he won't tolerate someone saying they serve him, but who also go and serve other pagan Gods. In the end - personally I can't be a hypocrite and say I serve God and then go ignoring his commandments. This doesn't mean I am casting judgment on anybody, that's God's job - but he's made it pretty clear what he expects of us, whether or not you believe everything is up to you.

I think the homosexuals get so much publicity because they are the only ones who so flagrantly flaunt their sin. If you have someone with a drinking problem, or are a habitual liar or a thief or some other sin, they generally try to hide it. But not the gay folk. And therein lies the problem. You can't shove it in my face and not expect me to respond with my own belief, now can you?
However, let me say I love the person, I simply abhor the sin, just like I hate the sin of stealing or cheating or lieing or whatever. But all people are worthy of love, if they have a soul.

Sin is sin and you call it by its proper name. It is not a sin to be gay its a sin if one engages in the sexual activity of it. That's where the impurity comes in. It is an abomination in the sight of God. You don't turn the truth upside down and call lies the truth and the truth a lie. Very often these people were abuse as youngsters and even if it seems as though it is built into nature they are called to celibacy. It is the cross they must bare for the love of God. Our job is to inform them in love, not with a club but in love to try to get them to understand and change that horrible way of living in mortal sin which cuts you off from God. Now if they do not change after being evangelized that's on there head at least you won't go to Hell for telling the truth in love. We are our brothers keeper in Christ.

As a Christian, I believe it when the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong. That doesn't mean I hate homosexuals. The Bible also says "hate the sin, love the sinner."

Actually, I"m quite tolerant. I love meeting people with beliefs different then mine. One of my goals in life is to meet as many people from every religion and walk of life that I can. I'm also very tolerant of homosexuals. I may not be for gay marriage, but I know it will happen any way. I only ask that my gay friends follow the same rules my straight friends do, which is don't make out in front of me.

For me, I am a Christian, I believe that homosexuality is against God and a sin. I am not rude to these people, and I have acquaintances that are homosexual, but they do know my belief and I am not afraid to speak it. I guess that would apply to other beliefs as well. i have a great friends who is a Buddhist, actually , my sons Kung Fu instructor. he knows what I believe and he know I think he needs to get saved, but we are still friends, I am not rude to him and he is an exceptionally great guy and instructor!
So I am firm in my beliefs and duty to spread Gods Word, but not rude to people.
