he seems to fine & otherwise healthy....anyone know what could be causing it? thanks...oh, if it matters, he is a boxer/rhodesian ridgehound mix.

Mine had it when he was young and the vet never did diagnose it as anything. His was more yellow, not green. He outgrew it eventually. I'm definitely interested in watching the answers to your question.

I had to take my pup to the vet because it didn't go away. It was some kind of infection. He was dripping all over the house and it was copious - gag me.

I'd take him to the Vet, there's good topical antibiotics to use if it's inside the sheath or have the Vet give him oral antibiotics.

No its just like pee that changed form into a discharge. My dog has it too. He's a full blooded Whippet.

Its smegma, all (uncircumsized) mammals have it. If you take him in for an infection the Vet is liable to get a good chuckle!

Call your vet. It could be an infection of some sort. I'd rather him be safe than sorry.

THIS HAPPENS WITH ALOT OF DOGS. IF IT'S NOT SEVERE YOU COULD CLEAN IT YOURSELF AND SEE IF IT GOES AWAY BUT GENERALLY DOG NEED A DOCS HELP

Has he been fixed? It could be semen mixed with urine. If he has been fixed, you should contact your vet.
