Yes, by all means. I remodel flip houses for investors. This kind of thing comes up often. Make the whole house beautiful to have a ugly looking tub. The work involved in replacment is far more extreme and expensive then to have a tub refinisher come out and repair chips and then refinish them. Pulling the tub out means to remove all drain connections, most likely any shower stall or tile work, replacing all of the above. They look beautiful when refinished for a fraction of the costs. Look in your phone book for a company that does this. There is a couple majore ones. Sinks on the other hand are much easier to replace if you so desire replacing it. Hope this helps you.

yes, but even when the tub or sink is meticulously cleaned it will still chip easier than the original finish. I once rented a house that the tub had been refinished this way, and the finish just started peeling after a few months. You might want to consider one of those drop in linings for your tub.

Hope so. That's what we're planning on doing with our bathtub since it's a steel tub and we don't want to buy a new plastic one when we're that far along remodeling the bathtub. We're having it done by someone though. We're not messing with it.

bath-tub,definitely yes.whether porcelain over cast iron or fiberglass it can be done.the sink may be a different story.if it's porcelain over cast iron it can be,but i've never heard of re-finishing cultured marble(which is probably what it is if not the aforementioned)contact a local plumbing supply house and they can give you the number of a re-finisher.whether re-finishing the sink would be cost-effective i do not know.

I once were given red hair dye on my palms and that i used windex to get it off and it got here off quite nicely. you may want to attempt that, yet i do not recognize how nicely it would want to artwork on a bath. also, nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol may artwork yet i'm not valuable. also attempt soaking your bathtub with bleach and water for some hours. solid success!
