I know that maybe this was asked before! Anyways I just wonder where if there are any good websites to get notes? I would like to get a different point of view, to see where I'm getting it wrong! You can even give me yours.

The author had read Ballantyne's "Coral Island" and decided that was too idealistic and he wanted to portray how he thought a group of boys would behave without parental control. If you read that, you might see where Golding was coming from.

The term Lord of the Flies refers to the Demon Beelzebub, he is called Lord of the Flies because flies are attracted to death and corruption and he is considered the corrupter of good things.

I think that it was great! The way all the boys were left on the island with no adults. And the way one guy [Jack]? went crazy at pigs and killed Piggy!
