I have noticed recently that everytime I have milk, I have very very bad indigestion/heart burn and which cannot be explained by anything else except the fact that I might be lactose intolerant. I can take other dairy products but not milk in its purest form...Will be very grateful for answers and additional info on the topic..
Thanks!

No cure, but there is treatment you can buy at the store. Try some lactose free milk, first and see how that sets with you. You can also buy enzyme pills that replaces the natural enzyme we all need to process cow milk. You know, only baby cows should drink cow milk....no humans. There are so many hormones in it that we should be drinking it at all. It is like a cow drinking human milk--it just wasn't meant to be.

My daughter and husband are both Lactose Intolerant. You just have to find out how much lactose you can handle. It builds up in your body overtime. I suggest you try that Lactaid before you eat or try some of the Lactose free products. My daughter can have cheeses, but yet can't have yogurt or milk in purest form and she can also have certain icecream and not others. Regardless if I don't limit her intake after awhile it builds up to the point she gets sick.

Lactose intolerance is caused by lack of enough enzyme lactase to digest the lactose. You can buy Lactaid over the counter which replaces the enzyme. Also, my daughter and husband are lactose intolerant and they can drink organic milk without having to take the Lactaid.

try soy milk. you could talk to your doctor if you dont want to do that, and probably should anyways. s/he can give you a medicine that you take before having dairy to keep you from getting stomach aches.

You might try this alergy elimination program. If your health insurance covers chiropractic care, they should cover this:
