My brother is an ER doctor so I called and asked him this question. The answer is No. He said the sometimes the nurses have said they feel a cool breeze but he has never experienced anything like that. He is a christian and does believe in heaven but has never seen a soul leave. But he has seen people reach out to something unseen before they pass and talk to people he can't see.

Can't "see" it, but it can be physically measured.
The weight of the human brain lightens when death takes place. It does not occur with animals.
