I have been dating a guy for a year and 6 months and we argue all the time. We try so hard to make it work but it won't... Why? Its so painful to let him go..

Why do you want to stay with someone with whom you argue constantly? Is that all you think you deserve? Arguing is stressful and having that much angst in your life is not healthy. Break up. Yes, it will be painful at first, but you will feel much better later. Relationships take work, but shouldn't be a full-time job.

Sometimes taking a break is the best thing you can do. My gf and i were together before we took a break for a month and now it has been over two years and we are as happy as humanly possible.

i know its hard to let go but if things dint work out now what do you think going to happen later in the future if you guys cant communicate then its not going to work BC communication is the most important key in every aspect but my philosophy is if its meant to be it will

okay, girl maybe is not meant to be and there is someone else out there waitin for you

or maybe ur just tryin soo hard to ger it right that ur gettin it all wrong, i suggest u let go of this relationship, and find urself one that actually works for you

every relationship ask for compromise and commitment so if u really like that guy so much learn to tolerate a bit only if it won't hurt you.

you two are probably too much alike and you probably don't want to let him go because you'll miss someone to argue with!

it seems you guys keep hitting on "triggers"
you know, pushing buttons....
even if you don't mean to/realize it
the issues need to be resolved in each of you
seperatly, or you're gonna just keep fighting about
the same things....

you two are not compatible?
it takes maturity
sometimes two people can care for each other and cant be together
maybe you two arent meant to be together
