i have hair thats past my shoulder and i was thinking of cliping part back like in the picture.but would it be ok todo on hair thats just past the shoulders.

it's definitely okay!
i'd recommend the same amount of hair that reese has pulled back, since your hair isn't really short or really long. that usually looks the best. and pull it straight back, not up.
