I suppose anythings possible. I suppose it's also possible that I will one day get to walk on the moon. But it's not likely. Neither is finding true love on the internet.

No I do not believe that is possible. I met and am engaged now to a woman that I first spoke with on the Internet but certainly did not feel any love for her prior to meeting her face to face. So many people on the box lie and exaggerate about themselves that it is hard to believe anyone on-line. They are neither friends or acquaintances but merely strangers and I have yet in my life to have fallen in love with a stranger.

Absolutely! I met a girl online in 1993 (before Internet dating was a big thing). We lived in different cities and chatted daily online. Then on the phone. Then in person. We've been married now for 11 years.
The trick is, take your time. Get to know a person before taking it to the next level. By the time she and I met face - to - face, we knew everything about each other and were already in love.

unlikely but possible...
If you meet someone through for example a message board/forum on some interest you have in common, well common interests are always a great place to start.
I'm more skeptical about dating/matchmaking websites (heck I've tried many of them) because you're more focused on "finding someone" instead of just being happy with your own life and keeping an eye open for someone you actually connect with.

It's certainly possible. In our modern society, you hear of more and more people meeting their spouses online. I'm speaking from personal experience too, since I met my girlfriend online (in a Yahoo chat room as a matter of fact), and I'm thinking that she might be my true love.

yeah of course i think its possible, why wouldnt it be? if anythin its easier as the common problem with relatioships are based upon personal;ity and attitude and looks, which the internet posses with profiles of particular people, but...and here in lies the art, the internet can let even the shyest of us, including myself, be themselves without fear of rejection and embarrassment ehilst gettin to know other people, i for one strongly advise people to use the internet for finding people, i do it every night and still havent found mine but i know she will appear one day, good luck xxx stevie x

Yes, it's possible. My friend did. Internet is just another way to meet people, you still have to be careful. It beats going to the bar and meet drunk people.. ;-)

sure can
but make sure before you fall in love he or she is real
some people have a strange way about them and can mess with peoples heads and hearts an think it is fun and funny to do so..
so when you do find the one...find a way to make sure they are real...and what they describe themselves to look like they do look like....
but other than that......
YES I do believe in this and it happens all the time...
good luck

Anything is possible if you believe, I have been on Yahoo for six years now and have not found anything, but that is just me, I hope that does not discourage you.
I am optimistic, but so far, nothing concrete, but life is full of surprises.
Stay Encouraged!!!
