I am a new college student, and the freshmen 15 is starting to set in!! Which is a good thing for me. I am a former pageant contestant and model, and I have never weighed over 115-120.. I am much happier at 130 (more curves, healtheir in general ;-}). Since college started, I have no time to hit the gym (when I used to work out for hours every night). I just want to tone and firm up without losing alot of pounds. Does anyone have any tips for this?

Thanks in advance!!

Pilates - you don't even need to go to the gym to do them, pilates is a great way to tone and firm muscles without adding bulk - you will get lean muscles mass. There may be a class offered in your area or there are tons of videos that you could get: Denise Austin, Crunch, 10 Minute Solution, Mari Windsor, etc.

Learn to do yoga. particularly the sun salutes. This will serve you your whole life. Six rounds of the second series sun salute is a workout in itself. You don't need any equipment so later in life when you are a CEO and traveling you have all your workout equipment packed in your body already.
I first studied yoga in highschool and then started again at age 40. I'm going on 50 now and all I can say is learn some basics and it will serve you for life. You are only as old as the health of your spine and yoga will nourish your spine. Take some classes. Watch some tapes. talk to people who are into yoga. It's not all sitting around in meditation. Ashtonga yogo will kick your a$$ to the moon and back if you want to go to the max. Vinyasa is a middle ground to explore.
You will tone up. You will lose a few pounds. You will learn something that will benefit you for life. Do it!

Run 2 miles a day, 6 days per week(45 min /day).
That was my college and post college routine.
Good Luck.
