You must not be very old....Parties are your most important thing in life? There is a lot more to it than that....what comes after is a small part to being a believer....if you do not understand that then there is a lot more learning and experiencing you have to do...I feel sorry for you...take this from a world traveler who has changed his views several times over the many years (probably multiple of you life) and still learning and experiencing...I remember the days when parties were so important

Who told you life was a party? lol
As a matter of fact, when I'm at a party I AM thinking about what I'll do next, it determines whether or not I'll have another drink. To not consider what happens after is foolishness indeed.

What if you found out that you were only at the pre-party and the true party was later on, and way better!
Would you rather go to your cousin's birthday party at earl's pub or to the new years party at the playboy mansion (to continue the analogy).
The point is that you can enjoy your time here with out ruining the best of what is yet to come.

I dont agree with you entirely. Life is a party in and for the Glory of God and because of God. Any celebrating should be for God not ourselves and not in the drunkeness or ungodly ways. In heaven the party never ends so why not work for God's glory in THIS life that is temporary for his permanent place he has for us? I will enjoy but I will be ready for Judgement Day as well.

If you are at a party and never get around to acknowledging or thanking the One who hosts it, then you are enjoying that which God has provided to you and being arrogant and disrespectful enough to believe that you have a right to be there, take what you like, do whatever you want in his house, and leave without ever saying thanks.
You are welcome to do this, as God won't kick you out of this life due to your lack of gratitude. But he will kick you out of the next one. You get but one chance to acknowledge the One God who sent you the invitation.
