You should call the vet. See what they say. A phone call is free, but chances are they'll want to run tests on another stool sample. Ask if you can bring that in without making another appointment (should save you some money).

Tape worms or round worms? Probably tape worms - evidenced by little white 'rice' bits around the rear, and in sleeping areas, etc. Round worms are usually not seen in adult cats. Tape worm medicine would have a second dose a week or more from the first dose. I think the answer about the digestive flora is probably correct. One way to help with restabilizing this would be to get a temperature stable probiotic. Yogurt with live cultures can also help - goat milk yogurt is best tolerated by cats. But small doses of cow yogurt usually doesn't hurt.

If they had a lot of worms they may need to be dewormed again a second time. Also it sometimes takes the system a while to get back to normal after the worms are gone. You can try giving some plain yogurt with live active cultures.

In order to be totally okayed for the parasites being gone, they should have two stool samples in a row come back negative. Chances are they still have the parasites. Bring a stool sample of each (if possible) back to the doctor. They can test it and if there is still evidence of parasites, they'll give you more medication. After the meds are done, bring in another stool sample and take it from there.

you may need to treat your cat again for ringworms which you can get a the store
fleas carry tapworms so put flea treatment on th cat and deworm him again go to th vet or buy petsmarts tapeworms tabs
and th medicine does make the cat have loose stools so i would say its the medicine you have been giving the cats.

This is normal. Keep their pans as clean as possible - you don't want them stepping in the runnies. It will take about a week for their digestive systems to re-establish a healthy bacteria (good bacteria) - - do not change their foods right now - that will only prolong their digestive upset. IF it does not clear up within a week, call your vet - he may suggest you change to a high fiber indoor cat food. Good Luck! If your cats like yogurt - it could help. Plain/vanilla.

Like everyone said, take him back to the vet and make sure he's cleared up.

If he is, it may be that his food doesn't agree with him. Wheat, corn and soy are common food allergens, and if your cat food contains any, that might be the problem.

I recommend looking into a high quality food that has meat as one of the first three ingredients, and no by product or meal - or grains.

SOUNDS GROSS BUT.....check their poop for worms, if the worms are still moving take them back to vet. if they aren't moving the cats are just expelling the dead worms.
