i've never tried using aloe vera for that reason specifically, however it does heal "magically" so it won't hurt to try at all. if you use the fresh aloe vera directly from the plant, make sure you WASH YOUR HANDS thoroughly immediately after handling it, because if it somehow gets on your mouth, the taste is very strong and gross. it won't harm you, just your tastebuds for a little bit. by the way: are you wearing your hair in a specific hairstyle that is causing strain on the hairline?

it is a popular belief in India that aloe vera(called as kalabandha in ayurveda) relieves your body of toxins and gives a glow to skin. it is used in many formulations.as far as hair is concerned there is no harm in trying if it is a natural preperation(without chemicals included in it) u r trying. But if it is a manufactured product that u are trying to apply then follow an experts advice.

I use it as gel in my hair sometimes, when I wash it out I tend to notice it makes my hair more shinier & softer.
