after they enter the room? My kids old Doctor did but, now we have a new doctor and he doesn't. Just was wondering...if anyone else has had this happen?

My ped washes her hands when she comes in the room and also puts on gloves before touching any child in the whole office. I like that.

Hygiene is important and doctors should know better. Find out whether he wipes his hands with anti-bacterial wipes instead of washing them. If he doesn't wash his hands..then it's about time you change doctor. You want what's best for your kids.

Depends on the doctor I see some wash some use the hand sanitizer but they clean htere hands some how!!

I'M NOT KIDDING! FIND A NEW DR. THE REASON THEY WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER THEY ENTER A ROOM IS BECAUSE OF GERMS ON THE DOOR HANDLE. IF HE'S NOT WASHING THEM, WHEN ELSE DOES HE CHOOSE NOT TO! IT'S VERY UNSANITARY!!!! FIND A NEW CLEANER DR.
