In this forum I would say at the begining non-muslims really really pound on me because of the hijab avatar. I would say now and then strangers, never Muslims though.

there are crazy men on both sides Muslims and non Muslim men.
ignorant men exist every where.

Muslim men never make me feel oppressed, rather comfortable and protected.
SOME non-muslim men feel like they are my saviours and we are all oppressed and need to shed our hijabs to be free.(media,yahoo answers,government)
I don't interact with men period outside of my husband and family friends and that is just fine with me :)

I have never felt oppressed by any man.My father and Muslims males in my family and inner circle brought me up to be confident but never to accept oppression.

i'm not muslim but i have felt oppressed by muslim men because they stare at me when i wear my short shorts as if i am doing something really bad...

I feel oppressed by nonmuslim men.. SOMETIMES!
