You need a sky hd box which costs £300 and £10.00 a month extra subscription, the box comes with the hdmi lead and connects straight to the hdmi socket on your hd ready Tv,the picture quality when watching a live football match in hd is amazing.

I presume that you already have a television capable of receiving High Definition signals and in addition you will need a new box from Sky, and a new subscription. Your dish will have an ordinary LNB fitted currently and will need to have a new one fitted to recieve HD signals, or possibly a new integrated dish may be fitted. It doesn't come cheap- ring Sky and ask them what they're willing to do it for. Try barter- they're desperate to get people on HD subscriptions.

You need a HD compatible TV (preferably plasma)... and sky will supply the rest.

HD is best picture that I have ever seen its absolutly fantastic it is definatly worth getting, if you can afford it as it can be quite expensive to install.
