I know it might seem stupid to you, but it's not to me. I was bought up Baptist Christian to believe certain things. But here is what I believe:
I believe Jesus came and walked this Earth and died on the cross.
I believe in God as Jesus's father and I also wear the pentagram and people have been telling me different things of the five points 1 being: -Faith, Charity, Tolorance, Love, and Longevity. and then 2 being: Earth, wind, air, psyche, and fire or something like that? I'm just confused. Right now, I am living by the 1st one and I just want to be sure I know what I am. Help me. LOL. Thanks.

Well, people has called it the pentagram and I guess I've been calling it the wrong thing. I am wearing the one with one point at the top. I know which one the ones who worship satan look like and I don't even get close to them.

You can wear what ever you want. If you want to give meaning to it that's fine too. You didn't say if you were trusting Jesus for your salvation, are you? People often get confused when God isn't their anchor. I think you need to stop take a look around your spiritual life. If you don't find Christ there you are indeed lost. Come back to your roots and find out who Jesus is then either reject His or become His through faith in Him... Jim

The pentagram - upright or inverted - is the same thing. It has nothing to do with Satan in either case. It is a symbol of pagan faiths and means many things, including (but not limited to) point meanings of:
Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit
North, East, South, West, Spirit
Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch, Taste, with the circle symbolizing spirit
Sounds like you're a Christian who likes wearing a pentagram and wants to make sure it's "okay". It's fine. But don't go telling anyone who is wearing a pentagram - inverted or otherwise - that it's Satanic. The only time a pentagram has anything to do with Satanism (DIFFERENT than "Satan") is when it is inverted with a goat's head drawn inside it. It is then a perversion of the pentagram, like an upside-down cross is a perversion of the cross.

Friend you don't say that you are a Christian, You said that you were brought up a Baptist. Memembership in a church does not give anyone salvation, I am just presumming that you may not be a Christian, So please don't get me wrong, First thing if you are not a Christian is to Repent & be Baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ & receive the Holy Ghost, Then That Holy Ghost Will lead you & direct you if you sincerely want Truth. Then you will know exactly who you are & what you believe, we can not just rest our case on believeing, Satan also Believed, Good luck to you in the days ahead.

Ummm, very confused here. You're christian, but aren't really sure since you're wearing a wiccan pentagram? No offense, but do you put all your faith in the pentagram or is it simly a necklace you like? What you are is up to you, your decision, but I don't see how anyone can confuse the wiccan pentagram with christianity. If you believe the things you said you believe, you're christian, but if you're wearing a pentagram, then you're advertising wiccan beliefs, and witchcraft does not go well with christianity.

Just to clarify because timmy's definition of pentacle & pentagram is incorrect... Pentagram is simply a 5-pointed star. Pentacle is the 5-pointed star surrounded by a circle symbolizing unity and continuity. Both definitions simply define the shape, regardless of whether it points up or down. Just like a triangle is a triangle no matter which direction it is facing. But sometimes the one pointing down is referred to as 'inverted' pentagram or pentacle.

I don't think God cares what religion you are as long as you believe in Him and follow His teachings. You must also believe that Jesus died for your sins because no one comes to the Father but thru the Son.

Dear Brittani... YOu are very confused. You cant mix light and darkness. If you believe that Jesus came and walked the earth and died for you upon the cross, then you are Christian IF you accept HIm as your saviour. Believing in Him isnt enough. Even the devil believes and trembles. BIBLE SAYS SO.
YOu say you believe, but then you say things that describe behviour no Christian would do. Wearing a pentagram is of the devil. God says you must choose which master you choose. You cant serve two masters. And either you choose Jesus, or you dont. and if you dont, then you choose the devil, cuz its the only way to go once Jesus is rejected. PPl not of God will tells you many things and if you believe in Jesus and want to serve Him, run to the nearest exist and hear no more formthose folks. But, its all choice, and one that only you can make.
BElieving in God isnt enough. YOu must follow Him and obey Him and trust Him. and love Him entirely. You have no room for anything ot the devil if you choose Jesus. It would gag you. Sounds like you are trying to deceide which of the two you will follow. Thats only a choice you can make. God teaches love and tolerance of ppl, but not tolerance of their sin, as it leads to destruction. Faith is kool, if its Jesus you believe in. But ifyour faith is in the devil, destrcution comes. many put their faith in mankand.. who only lets them down. Charity is love and thats of God. The devil doesnt want us in love and unity, he wants division and confusion and hatred. So, just remembere we write our own paths for our futhre. God does not condemn anyone to hell. Ppl put themselves there by rejecting God. Jesus died on the cross for all of it. Wasnt that enough??????? The devil just loves it when he can put a dark cloud over ppl where they cant see truth. the devil cant go to heaven and he doesnt want any of us there either. Its personal choice. Make the right decison. I am praying. we cant have faith in the earth. God made the earth, and it is He we have faith in. Have faith in the only one to give life, and to give you the gift of salvation. Choose today I pray. You say you have faith.. in who? what? and where will it get you...??????????????????

You should lose the pentagram. It is a Satanic symbol. People will try to cover this up by saying it represents something else, something even virtuous, but this is misleading. This is exactly how
Satan fools people, and draws them away from Christ.
You do well to follow the first religion. Stay away from anything that could be classified as "New Age".

In Matthew 22:29 Jesus condemned the Pharisees because they did not know their Bible.
If we don't wish to make the same error ....a study of the Bible would seem appropriate.
Read it yourself first.
Read it again ...especially the NT.
Then dwell on your reading.
Then seek out a Bible study class.
