Some people need a picture to fully understand things. Maybe they should put a photo of a peanut on the label.

Have you read that great book, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where the main character realises the world should come to an end, or something like that, when he reads on a packet of toothpicks, directions on how to use them ? I read it 20 years ago, and I've probably forgotten what conclusion he came to, but the toothpick directions I couldn't ever forget, as they were unique.
In real life, the worst I've ever come across were sachets of salt and pepper on planes that gave ingredients for same, but the peanuts warning is a law for peanut allegy sufferers that all producers have to display, so its not their fault. The salt thing is stupid, though.

Oh yes, I see stupid warnings like that all the time. I've seen that on peanuts and I have seen the Hair dryer warning the other poster mentioned. My favorite warning is on lotion, shampoo, shaving cream, etc. that warn it's for "external use only, not to be ingested." I've seen so many idiotic warnings that it makes me feel like I'm surrounded by morons. It's unfortunate that companies have started having to do that to avoid frivolous lawsuits.

By law, companies have to label when peanuts may have come into contact with the food product...even if they are nuts. Some people are really oblivious. Helps them avoid a lawsuit, too.

i comprehend it is so humorous particularly some the warnings on applications. i think of Jay Leno study some on his tutor one nighttime. With peanuts, regrettably, they reason this variety of intense reaction in some people who they'd desire to submit warnings. stupid as they'd sound. a buddy replaced into telling me she will't deliver her baby to college with a peanut butter sandwich only incase another baby is allergic to peanuts. See the place Mars bars are starting to be to be rid of peanuts too, for this reason. this would be a tragic time for us peanut enthusiasts.

One the label of sleeping pills, the waring says :Use cautiously, this product may cause drowzeness (which is the feeling of sleepy).

On a lot of different boxed cakes with icing it has printed on the BOTTOM of the box: "Do not turn upside down."
On some hair dryers it reads: "Warning: when on this object may be hot."
