according to the Catholic Liturgical Calendar... there are 6 seasons begining with Advent:.
*Advent (preparing for the Birth of Jesus), begins the end of November, early Dec.lasts until xmas day; colors are violet
*Christmas; begins on Christmas day and lasts through mid January colors are gold and white
*Ordinary Time, the season before Lent, color is green
*Lent (preparation for Easter) begins on Ash Wednesday, aprx 40 days before Easter, color is violet
*Easter, begins on Easter Sunday and lasts 50 days, colors gold, white
*Ordinary Time, lasts from the end of Easter season until Advent, colors are green

Spring,winter,summer,and fall.
I'm not trying to be a butt.Why would we worry about such things.It has no baring on anything related to a Christian church.
If there is,I don't know about it.If you attend a church that practices something like that,you may want to research it,and see if it has any significance to Christianity.
